Day 1 – Aloha Waikiki

Bask in the generous Aloha Spirit as you embark on an enriching encounter with the best that Hawaii has to offer. Join your Travel Director and fellow travelers this evening for a Welcome Reception overlooking Waikiki Beach to kick-start your Hawaii holiday.  Enjoy a Welcome Reception in the Aston Waikiki Beach Hotel.

Day 2 – Uncover Oahu’s Natural Beauty

After Breakfast – Admire the views from Hanauma Bay, then follow the scenic windward coast of Oahu before heading to Sunset Beach on Oahu’s North Shore, famous amongst surfers for its huge waves. Then cross the island to return to Waikiki, where the rest of the day is yours.

Atlantis Premium Submarine – Climb aboard Atlantis XIV, the world’s largest hi-tech passenger submarine which holds a whopping 64 passengers. Being in a submarine and descending to 100 feet underwater is an adventure in itself. You will also get to see real marine life up close. Atlantis is an eye-opening experience while visiting our sunken shipwrecks, airplane and other artificial reefs. Atlantis has a spacious air-conditioned interior, large view ports and comfortable seating. Polynesian Cultural Center Admission and Show – The spectacular 42-acre Polynesian Cultural Center brings to life the traditions, history, and hospitality of the islands of the South Pacific. Day 3 – Explore and Play in Honolulu

After Breakfast – You’re free to explore Honolulu on your terms today. Learn how to surf, relax on the beach, or consider one of the many optional activities suggested by your Travel Director. Tonight, embrace laid back island living and join your travel companions for a dinner featuring a Mai Tai, ocean breezes and local fare.

Day 4 – Discover the History of Honolulu

After Breakfast – We will visit Pearl Harbor National Monument and the USS Arizona Memorial as well as drive through the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific. Also today in downtown Honolulu, see Iolani Palace, the King Kamehameha I Statue and State Capitol Building.

Day 5 – Journey to the Big Island

The Big Island of Hawaii beckons this morning after Breakfast. A flight and transfer brings us to the lively seaside village of Kailua-Kona where we enjoy an orientation tour before setting off to explore Kona’s famous coffee culture. Visit a coffee plantation and Connect with Locals, then check in to your oceanside resort, the Sheraton Kona Resort and Spa, where our Local Specialist will join you for an exploration of the hotel’s Manta Ray Learning Center. This evening, enjoy sumptuous island flavors at Rays on the Bay against the enchanting backdrop of the Pacific at sunset.

Day 6 – Relax and Explore in Kona

You’ll wake to the soothing sounds of the sea and spend the day exploring the Big Island on your terms – relax by the pool or go in search of Hawaii’s tastiest ‘Ono Grinds’.  And don’t forget to have breakfast before your day begins…

**Excursions Available on Day 6 – There are eight (8) available excursions which include: various helicopter adventures and a snorkeling adventure.  Check with TravelKatz to decide which you would prefer, and we will handle all the booking requirements.

Day 7 – Venture to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park

After Breakfast – Journey to Punalu’u Beach Park famous for its black sand and Hawaiian green sea turtles. Then we’ll travel to visit UNESCO-listed Hawaii Volcanoes National Park to see the world’s largest volcano. Our brush with the smoldering depths of Big Island not quite complete, we enjoy lunch at a historic plantation. We’ll board a flight to Maui where we spend the next three nights in our beachfront resort, the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa, located at magnificent Kaanapali Beach.

Day 8 – Enjoy the Flora and Fauna of Maui

After Breakfast, you’ll delve into the depths of an underwater wonderland revealed by the passionate conservation naturalists at Maui Ocean Center, home to the world’s largest collection of live Pacific corals, Hawaiian green sea turtles, sharks, and thousands of tropical fish. Fresh local produce and hearty Polynesian hospitality are served in abundance when we connect with the locals for a traditional “Be My Guest” lunch experience providing insights into the island’s sustainable agricultural industry.

Day 9 – Maui Your Way

Sunrise Haleakala – Set your alarm and get ready to dress warmly as we prepare to make the 38-mile trip up to the summit of the dormant volcano known as Haleakala. The temperature stays around 20 degrees Fahrenheit, but the sight of the sun rising from 10,000 ft above sea level will soon warm you up. Breakfast Included. Whale Watch Lahaina with One Way Transportation (Nov -Mar) Informative and fun, each two-hour classic whale watch is led by a team of Pacific Whale Foundation’s certified Marine Naturalists, who explain and interpret the social behavior of humpback whales. Listen to whale songs with underwater hydrophones, watch mothers and calves interact and see males compete for females. Every trip is different; you never know what you will experience! Day 10 – Until We Meet Again
