Our Italy Packages will take you to Rome for 4 Days, the Marvelous Amalfi Coast for 3 Days with a Cooking Lesson in the Roman Countryside.  Included are tours of Rome including the Sistine Chapel and the Coliseum; tours of Pompeii and Naples including the archaeological ruins of the most famous Roman City of Pompeii.

We will bring you to the most desirable destinations, including central Rome, and Mt. Vesuvius.  Enjoy a relaxing spacious ride in style as we show you unforgettable days.

Experience Rome (4 Days / 3 Nights)

ITINERARY

Day 1: Rome

Upon arrival in Rome, our English-speaking driver greets you at the airport customs exit to take you to your hotel, giving you useful information about Rome en route.

Day 2: Vatican Day

After breakfast we will pick you up for a tour of the Vatican museums, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s Basilica. Spend the afternoon at your leisure.

Day 3: Ancient Rome

Enjoy breakfast and a leisurely morning in Rome. In the afternoon tour Ancient Rome including the Coliseum, Roman Forum and Palatine Hill.

Day 4: Rome

Ciao Roma! Prepare for departure after breakfast. Meet your driver for a private transfer to the pier.

Day 5: Cooking Lesson in the Roman Countryside

The Medieval Village of Mazzano is just one hour from Rome; you’ll visit a Food Market, and learn how to prepare a traditional Italian lunch while in the Roman countryside.  Visit the farm and a country food market and enjoy a traditional Italian lunch.  Live a gourmet experience far from the beaten path!  A car will pick you up from our meeting place and will take you to the ancient village of Mazzano Romano, where you will make you way to a lavish garden and farm abounding with fresh veggies, spices, and eggs.  There you will pick all of the ingredients necessary to create the menu you’ll be preparing in a cooking lesson.  Don’t wear you best shoes!  The Chef, who will guide you through the lesson will show you step by step how to prepare each meny item, using methods that you will surely be able to duplicate once you return home.  From appetizers to the first course, second course and dessert, the Chef sill teach you the preparations of a delightful, traditional Italian meal.  Relax and enjoy the nature beore being taken back to your hotel in Rome.

ITINERARY

Day 6: Naples, Pompeii, and Amalfi

After breakfast, we’ll pick you up from your hotel in Rome and head south for a panoramic tour of Naples before setting off to Pompeii.  Grab some lunch and then enter the archaelogical ruins of the famous Roman city destroyed by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD.  Depart for a ride along the Sorrentine Coast, arriing in Amalfi in time for dinner.

Day 7: Amalfi

After breakfast,  get ready for your departure.  You’ll enjoy a leisurely day exploring the wonderful ancient Capital of the Maritime Republic of Amalfi, taking in the city’s main sites, plunging into the waters of the gulf of Salerno, or sipping on some of the locally-produced limoncello.  Return to your hotel for some well-deserved rest and dinner.

Day 8: Return to Rome

Spend a leisurely morning doing some last minute sightseeing or shopping in Amalfi.  In the afternoon, depart for Rome where you will either fly home or board your ship for that much awaited for Mediterranean cruise.
