The Frontier Days celebration in Cheyenne is a huge rodeo held once a year. There is a wonderful parade bringing into town all the cattle, horses, clowns, and rodeo personalities and contestants a town can hold. Several events during the week up to the rodeo are worth attending, too. There is a museum depicting the history of Cheyenne Frontier Days, featuring Annie Oakley, among other celebrity cowboys and cowgirls.
