DAY 1 SAN JUAN, PUERTO RICO:  The imposing façade of El Morro fortress is just one of the many UNESCO World Heritage Sites in San Juan. Admire the colorful colonial buildings from your casually elegant ship, docked right in the heart of Old San Juan.

DAY 2 PHILIPSBURG, ST. MAARTEN:  Pastel-colored buildings and shops filled with tempting souvenirs herald your  arrival to bustling Philipsburg. Situated near the harbor on the Dutch side of St. Maarten, Philipsburg owes its discovery to Christopher Columbus in 1493. Today, celebrated Front Street is home to a number of local Creole restaurants as well as jewelry stores, stylish boutiques, and a lively upbeat island experience.

DAY 3 LES SAINTES, GUADELOUPE:  This is the Caribbean as you’ve always imagined it, with yacht-filled harbors set against volcanic mountains and endless stretches of palm-fringed beach. The underwater world here attracted the likes of Jacques Cousteau, but novice snorkelers will enjoy exploring these blue waters.

DAY 4 BEQUIA, ST. VINCENT & THE GRENADINES:  The only ships in port are those small enough to anchor alongside the yachts and fishing boats in Admiralty Bay. Bequia’s whaling heritage is on display in the Port Elizabeth museum, or watch the island’s famed model boat builders at work on their miniature masterpieces.

DAY 5 ST. GEORGE’S, GRENADA:  Inhale the intoxicating aroma of the “Isle of Spice” as your eyes feast on what is widely claimed to be the most beautiful city in the Caribbean. Spend the day on 2-mile-long Grand Anse beach, and before you go, a taste of nutmeg ice cream is a must.

DAY 6 PIGEON ISLAND, ST. LUCIA:  The UNESCO site Pitons’ with their two majestic volcanic peaks and 24 miles of vibrant coral reef welcome you. Nearby Pigeon Island National Park features impressive ruins of English forts, archaeological relics of Arawak Indians, and splendid beaches.

DAY 7  AT SEA: The best thing about being at sea is getting to enjoy the company of other passengers, relaxing at the spa, reading a book, enjoying the onboard entertainment, or just doing nothing.

DAY 8 SAN JUAN, PUERTO RICO: Return to port and fly back to the mainland USA.

Your YachtWith only 212 guests, this cruise will make you feel like you’re on board your own private yacht almost as soon as you step aboard. The ship  is large enough to pamper and entertain you, yet small enough to tuck into delightful tiny harbors and hidden coves that others can’t reach.  The sitting area of your spacious, newly refurbished suite gives you an expansive ocean view — making it a welcome retreat.  When you’re ready to make an appearance, the common areas are waiting to be explored. Take some “you” time in the tranquil Spa – enjoy a dip in the pool – work off that decadent dessert in the Fitness Center and, you are always welcome to visit the Bridge to examine navigation charts with the Captain.

THIS IS THE WORLD’S BEST SMALL SHIP CRUISE LINE

NO ONE ELSE GOES SO FAR TO GET TRAVELERS SO CLOSE:  You’re closer to secluded coves and tiny villages. To ancient ruins and quaint marinas. To unspoiled beaches, unfamiliar cultures, undiscovered atolls. To enlivening your curiosity and awakening your sense of wonder. You’re closer than ever to the kind of authentic and unforgettable experiences that you travel to find in the first place. You’re closer to all the places that larger ships can’t reach.

A WORLD FEW WILL EVER SEE:  Welcome to a world of understated luxury and uncommon beauty. A world that leaves crowds and commonplace behind to find unique ports of call, and local, exotic cultures that are at once fascinating and wondrous. A world that’s equal parts intimate, indulgent and inspiring. Where the allure and beauty and magic of the places you sail to is equaled only by the ship that takes you there.

HARDLY A CRUISE FOR EVERYONE, BUT LIKELY THE CRUISE FOR YOU:  Banish cliché, toss aside regimen, steer clear of stuffy. Our perfectly sized ships make it possible to flip the script on cruising. Free yourself from crowds and indulge all your senses, especially your sense of awe. Experience cultures in ways that are personal and authentic, with the power to change your perspective. With 212 guests, a Windstar ship is large enough to pamper, yet small enough to explore secluded coves and docks in the heart of charming villages, sparkling cities, and remote islands.

PREPARE TO BE SURPRISED:  Yes, our ships are beautiful, but their real beauty lies in how close they can get you to the kind of authentic, immersive experiences you’re looking for. Have dinner with a local family in their village home, and see what life is like from a local perspective. Take a culinary tour, and see the cultural role food plays in the islands. Launch a kayak directly from the ship on one of our Signature Expeditions. And our carefully curated onboard lecturers deepen and enhance your experiences with an insider’s look at intriguing local topics. Get closer to each destination through the best small ports and hidden harbors, for access to different cultures and far-off lands.

EVERYTHING IS PERSONAL WITH US:  It’s knowing to bring you the exact right thing at the exact right time. A perfect chocolate soufflé, as you contemplate what the lovely night has in store. A welcoming smile and warmed refresher towel waiting for you after seeing sights you still can’t quite believe you saw. Every moment we’ll be near at hand, making sure you’re the favored recipient of unprecedented, award-winning service.

YOU DIDN’T COME ALL THIS WAY FOR THE BURGERS:  Discover the essence of whatever destination calls your name, the local culture is deliciously reflected in the meals you enjoy on your ship. Fresh, local ingredients – often selected by your ship’s chef on a trip to the local market – go into each perfectly presented dish. It’s just one more way we help you devour local life and community, and whet your appetite for travel.

FINE DINING HAS ALWAYS BEEN ONE OF THE PILLARS OF THIS EXPERIENCE:  We’ve taken that talent and expertise one step further by partnering with the James Beard Foundation to bring you culinary experiences that are truly 180 degrees from ordinary. Now guests can dine on dishes created by not just one celebrity chef, but by a list of all-stars recognized by the James Beard Foundation, an organization committed to culinary education and achievement. This partnership also extends beyond the dining room to a wide range of culinary events and activities that help guests connect more intimately with local cultures.
